Administration

Kyle Nelson has served in education since 2013, working as a paraprofessional, special education teacher, department chair, football and track coach, and administrator. He began his career at Boswell Elementary in Lebanon before spending six years with Nixa Public Schools. In 2023, he returned to Lebanon, where he currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Lebanon Middle School. Kyle is passionate about supporting students and staff, fostering a positive school culture, and helping every learner reach their full potential.

 

A Lebanon High School graduate, Mr. Simmonds has worked in the Lebanon R-3 School District in roles including bus driver, paraprofessional, special education teacher, and Coordinator of Site Interventions. He holds a Master's degree in Special Education and a Specialist degree in K–12 Building Leadership.

Mr. Simmonds is committed to building strong relationships with students, staff, and families while fostering a positive school culture where every student can thrive. He was also the first recipient of the District's Difference Maker Award, recognizing his dedication to students and the Lebanon community.

 

Brian Decker serves as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Lebanon Middle School. A 2007 Lebanon High School graduate, he has dedicated over a decade to Lebanon R-3 in a variety of leadership, coaching, and student support roles. He holds a Master of Education Administration from Missouri State University and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from College of the Ozarks.

Mr. Decker is passionate about building relationships with students, staff, and families while creating a safe, positive, and encouraging school environment. In 2025-26, he was recognized as the MIAAA Southwest Middle School Athletic Director of the Year and received the Yellowjacket Influencer Award for his commitment to Lebanon Schools and the community.
